Ruptured appendicitis
Whenever there is a delay in the diagnosis or the presentation then there is the state of ruptured appendicitis. There are different clinical presentations but there are different physical symptoms such as the condition of high fever and leukocytosis. This condition of ruptured appendicitis have a high mortality rate when compared to the normal appendicitis, this rate is ten times more than normal state. So a strong diagnosis is very important.
The most serious case occur when the infection spreads in the inner lining of your abdominal cavity, this may occur due to the rupturing of you appendix, this result makes the passage for the harmful infectitious pathogens easy in the body. This might cause a pain throughout your body. This may soon feel better and sometime may feel lot of pain, this condition changes drastically time to time. Sometimes there might be problems in passing gas but this may happen with few people only, there also might be bowel moment or even inflammation of other organs. There might be bit fever and a low urine output from the person’s body.
Peritonitis is state of a medical emergency. Anytime if someone from your family and even you develop signs of peritonitis, an abdominal infection, just go straight to the emergency room. This state can be really very serious even after you have undergone a surgery.
Ruptured appendix is mostly found in children rather than the adults. There are no prominent symptoms of appendicitis so the parents do not often refer the doctor to get treatment for appendicitis, as they do not understand the severity of the problem. Sometimes they feel it is just a minor stomach ache.
There are sometimes seepage and intestinal complications that may occur due to ruptured appendicitis. There can be abscess that may be even small or walnut sized, they can also large as a grape fruit but mostly are smaller in size. Basically these are the ones that cause peritonitis.
